Yes, it is heart wrenching to see your child studying so hard and trying so hard to improve himself/ herself, only to see the dejection in his/her face, and the frustration when the results do not seem to commensurate the effort put in. More often, it is not because your child is not bright enough or not because your child did not put in enough effort. Perhaps it is because your child did not develop the right brain “muscle” to take in, retain and recall the knowledge he or she had acquired. Take an example of a athlete. It is not just to run and run to be a top athlete. He must train the right muscle group to make it more efficient and more effective in order to project the power needed to move ahead. Knowing the knowledge of running is simply not enough. In the same way, a child acquires a great deal of knowledge in school, tuition, by reading etc. But not training the right mental “muscles” to stay focused, to retain, to use logic and reasoning to understand a problem and deriving a solution, the child will have difficulty trying to keep up with the others. The child brain will be like a leaking cup, where knowledge poured in would just continue to leak out, unless the leaks are plugged. There are many programs in the market that emphasize on learning strategies, examination strategies to try to patch up the leaks. In MINDMAX, we believe that training the child at the fundamental level, i.e training the brain “muscles” is the best approach in any child development. Developing the child brain “muscles” will give the child the mental strength, tenacity and confidence which will boost his overall development. In the same way as the trained athlete- he will not just be a good athlete, he will a stronger person both physically and mentally. Our MINDMAX Empowered Learning Program consists of following training:
