2009 Holiday Programmes

In November and December, i3 Education Lab will be running a range of exciting holiday programmes for children from 18 months to 16 years  old.

This is not your mainstream Speech & Drama Programme. Here we act, sing, dance, learn to make props, do backstage work and take turns directing thus encompassing our core values of creating a THINKING individual.

Our Programme combines the dynamics of theatre, oral presentation, vocal training and creative movement to help develop communication skills and self-expression. Children love our monthly thematic lesson plans that provide Visual, Auditory & kinesthetic learning via improved pronunciation, extended vocabulary and a greater command of the English language.

4.5 - 12  years old

This IS NOT purely a music education and appreciation programme. This is an academic programme using MM as the main teaching tool with monthly thematic lesson plans that correspond to the school curriculum. The programme also includes activities that will enable the children to explore space, to develop musicality and to improve co-ordination.

The objective is to fully engage an otherwise shy or active child into the learning arena using their best language at this stage of development-MM.

18 months - 8  years old

Tap, Jazz and Groove your way to movie themed choreographed dances. Learn the basics of these dances and dazzle your friends!

5 - 12 years old

Learn Hip Hop and Jazz Moves from dance instructor Brittany :

• Enthusiastic and possess the ability to motivate others
• Over 5 years experience choreographing and teaching dance
• Over 15 years experience dancing
• Expertise in jazz and hip-hop
• Enjoy working with kids and using creative approaches to teach dance

13 - 16 years old

This Public Speaking programme provides an understanding and appreciation of the art of Public Speaking. It includes carefully structured experiences that increase children’s fluency and skill in communicating.

10 - 16 years old

A complete systematic and comprehensive phonics programme. Children will gain confidence and self-esteem to motivate themselves to become independent fluent readers.
